Opening Times
This year, Sophie's Street Feast will be open from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets
Entry to Sophie's Street Feast is free, but we ask visitors to book a free ticket in advance. This helps us plan for the day, manage visitor numbers and parking, and make sure everyone has the best possible experience.
Accessibility
This event is for everyone!
MK City Discovery Centre strives to provide accessibility for all visitors. The site is designed to be accessible, with ramps, wide pathways, accessible toilet facilities and accessible amenities throughout. There is designated accessible parking close to the courtyard, which will be signposted on arrival. If you require any assistance, please speak to one of our parking stewards or members of the Street Feast events team.
To help create a more comfortable experience for those who prefer a calmer environment, we'll be holding a Quiet Hour from 11am to 12pm, with low-level background music from the DJ and no live performances in the festival tent during this time.
Our friendly events team will be on hand throughout the day (and easy to spot in their bright pink Street Feast t-shirts!) to help ensure everyone has a fantastic experience. If there's anything we can do to support your visit, please don't hesitate to ask.
First Aid
A qualified paramedic will be on site throughout the day. If you need any medical assistance or support, please speak to a member of the Street Feast team in a bright pink t-shirt and we'll make sure you get the help you need.
Babies and children
We are a family-friendly event and little ones are very welcome. Baby changing facilities are available inside the main barn and breastfeeding is welcome throughout the venue.
There'll be plenty to see, do and explore throughout the day, but please be aware that there are areas within the grounds of MK City Discovery Centre that include open water. These areas will be clearly marked on event maps and signposted around the site.
If you become separated from your child at any point during the event, please speak to a member of the Street Feast team immediately and we'll be happy to help.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs on a lead are more than welcome.
Parking
As parking at MK City Discovery Centre is limited, we encourage visitors to walk, cycle, use public transport or car share where possible.
Accessible parking will be available close to the venue and will be clearly signposted on arrival. Our team will also be on hand to help anyone who needs assistance.
Booking a free ticket in advance helps us prepare for the day and manage parking and visitor numbers, so everyone can enjoy the event as smoothly as possible.
Food allergens and dietary requirements
Please speak to individual food vendors about any allergies, dietary requirements or concerns regarding cross-contamination. There will be a range of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available on the day.
Payment
Most food vendors at Sophie's Street Feast accept both cash and card payments. Please check with individual vendors on the day.
Seating
There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas across the venue where you can relax and enjoy your food. These include communal tables and benches, as well as outdoor space if you'd like to bring your own picnic blanket or camping chairs. You can also find shelter or shade in our festival tent.
What happens if it rains?
Sophie's Street Feast will go ahead whatever the weather. There are indoor spaces and covered areas across the site, so come prepared for a great day out whatever the forecast.
Water
Free drinking water is available at the Discovery Centre on the side of the barn, next to the Toybox tent. This will be clearly signposted on the day.
Vendors
We hope you're as excited about this year's line-up as we are! Vendors joining us include Baja Cantina, Disco Fries, Flavour Trailer, Good Times Cafe, Safs Kitchen, Souls Kitchen, Phil's Pizza, Wilson's Street Food, Ugly Dumpling, Chouxly Scrumptious, Cinnamon Pantry, Oh My Cakery, CRUMB, The Willen Ice Cream Company, Papi's Cocktails and Milk & Beans Coffee. You'll also be able to enjoy soft drinks, wine, beer (including an exclusive Street Feast lager from Grid Beer) and cider from the bar inside the Cruck Barn.
Entertainment
Horizon Radio will be keeping the good vibes flowing with DJs throughout the day. We're also excited to showcase some fantastic local talent in our festival tent, with performances from Lillibet, Manny, Rory Okane and more.
Charities
Donations from this year's event will support Toybox, NutriTroops and the 5 On It Foundation. Together, these charities help vulnerable children around the world, support healthier futures for young people, and create positive opportunities for children and families across Milton Keynes.
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of ways to support their work. You can find out more by visiting the charity tents or scanning the QR codes located around the venue.
Keep an eye out for special menu items and event exclusives from our vendors too, with proceeds from selected sales helping to support the charities' work.
Sustainability
As a team, we're committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability at Street Feast. That's why all drinks from the Discovery Centre bar will be served in reusable cups. There is a £1 charge for each cup, which you're welcome to keep as a souvenir. All proceeds from cup sales will be shared between Toybox, NutriTroops and the 5 On It Foundation.
Don't forget to bring your cup back to the bar when you're ready for a refill. By reusing cups throughout the day, you'll be helping us reduce single-use waste and make Street Feast a little greener.
Photography
Professional photography and videography will be taking place throughout Sophie's Street Feast. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let the photographer know on the day or contact us in advance at [email protected]. Photos and videos captured at the event may be used by the organisers and partner charities for promotional purposes, including on websites, social media, printed materials and future event marketing.
To help protect privacy, we will not identify individuals or children using full names or personal information without permission.
By attending the event, you acknowledge that photography and filming may take place. We will always aim to respect requests from anyone who does not wish to appear in event photography or video.
Social media
We're a social bunch! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. We'd love to see your photos, videos and foodie finds from the day, so don't forget to tag us and use #SophiesStreetFeast.
