Accessibility

This event is for everyone!

MK City Discovery Centre strives to provide accessibility for all visitors. The premises are designed to be accessible, including ramps, wide pathways, and accessible facilities. There is designated accessible parking close to the courtyard - this will be signposted and if you require assistance, please speak to the parking stewards when you arrive. Our brilliant events team are here (in their bright pink Street Feast t-shirts) to make sure you have an amazing time. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

If you've got any feedback, we'd love to hear from you.

Babies and children

We are baby and child-friendly! We have baby changing facilities inside the main barn. Please be aware there are areas in the grounds of MK Discovery Centre that have open water. These will be clearly marked on site maps of the area provided.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs on a lead are more than welcome.

Parking

Our wonderful event sponsor Brioche Pasquier have kindly let us borrow their premises car park for the day. This car park has 160 spaces and is short 10-minute walk from the Discovery Centre. It is fully secure and will even be manned with a friendly security steward for the full event.

Find it at Brioche Pasquier, 8 Garamonde Drive, Wymbush, Milton Keynes, MK8 8DF. What3words: ///turkeys.wheat.trial.

We strongly encourage those who can to park here to ensure those with limited mobility can access and enjoy the event.

MK City Discovery Centre has a small car park with limited additional parking out on Alston Drive. There is a designated accessible parking area that will be sign posted or please ask a parking steward for assistance when you arrive.

If you can walk or cycle to the event, this would be very helpful to avoid any congestion coming into the venue.

Food allergens and dietary requirements

Please make sure you chat to the individual food vendors to check for allergies in any dishes and for any potential cross contamination. There will be gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available on the day.

Payment

Most food vendors at Sophie's Street Feast accept both cash and card payments. Please check with individual vendors on the day.

Seating

There are seating areas both indoor and outdoor at the venue where you can sit and enjoy your food. These areas include communal tables and benches as well as outdoor space for you to bring your own picnic blankets or camping chairs. You can also find shelter or shade in our Street Feast festival tent.

Water

There is a water point with drinkable water at the Discovery Centre on the side of the barn next to the charity tents. This will be signposted at the event.

Vendors

We hope you are as excited about the full line up as we are! Vendors this year include: Baja Cantina, Disco Fries, Eat is Greek, Fold Me Close, Flavour Trailer, Good Times Cafe, Lime Face, Safs Kitchen, Souls Kitchen, Oh my Cakery, Cinnamon Pantry, The Willen Ice Cream Company, Chouxly Scrumptious, JW Event Carts, Papi's Cocktails and Milk and Beans Coffee.

You will also be able to buy soft drinks, wine, beers (including our special Street Feast beer back this year by popular demand!) and ciders from the bar inside the Cruck Barn. There is an additional beer, soft drink and water only bar located inside the festival tent.

Entertainment

We are delighted to welcome Tom from Barista Culture who will be bringing the tunes all day from his pink van!

In addition, local artists Jazz The Two of Us, Tom Heasman and Rory Okane will be performing on the Yamaha Stage in our Street Feast Festival Tent as well as DJ Paul Viccars.

Charities

Donations from this year's event will support Toybox and Urb Farm and Urban Bee-lievers work with vulnerable children and young people in Milton Keynes and around the world.

During the event, there will be plenty of opportunities to support the vital work of these charities. These include an option to 'donate a plate' to provide a vulnerable young person a warm, nutritious meal and a drink or 'plant a plot' to transform the life of a young person from the ground up through the provision of training and growth of fresh food. You can find more information on how to donate by scanning the QR code across the venue or by visting the charity tents.

Do also keep an eye on vendors who will offering specials on the day, where proceeds from sales will be split between the charities.

Sustainability

As a team we are committed to reducing waste and promoting sustainability at Street Feast. That's why all drinks from the MKCDC bar will be served in reusable cups. There is a £1 charge for the cup which you are welcome to keep as a souvenir. All proceeds will be split between Toybox and Urb Farm and Urban Bee-lievers. Don't forget to bring your cup back to the bar when you're ready to buy a refill.

This initiative helps us minimize single-use plastic and support a greener environment. Thank you for your understanding and participation.
