Our ongoing birth registration work in Guatemala. Over a recent three-month period, our partner CONACMI held three registration sessions. As a result, 170 children went through the process of late registration and their right to identity was restored. During this process CONACMI works closely with RENAP, the government department for national registry in Guatemala, and we give thanks for this partnership.
The smooth reintegration of eight street children in Kenya, following a lengthy process by Pendekezo Letu, our partner in Kenya, which included tracing the families and carrying out assessments to ensure a safe and supportive environment for the children.
The newly opened Café77 in Nepal, a social enterprise initiative run by local partner SathSath, where young people connected to the streets can gain skills, earn an income and work towards a brighter future. We pray that this café may be successful and be a starting point for the young people that will help them change their lives for the better.
