The Toybox Spring prayer guide for 2023 is out now!
In this edition, we celebrate both Easter and the International Day of the Street Child (April 12th). Please join with us in giving thanks for the children whose lives have been turned around and who can now celebrate a new beginning. We continue to pray for the children whose lives remain in darkness and sadness, who cannot see a bright way forward. Please also pray for our partners who stand alongside these children, offering them emergency care to help bring light and hope to their lives.
Please also join us as we pray for the situation in Sierra Leone where the economy spiralled downwards towards the end of 2022. Prices of food and other essential commodities uch as fuel, electricity and water bills are considerably higher than the comparative totalearnings of people, affecting the children and families with whom we work. It also has another potential effect on our work, as the fall in exchange rate and high inflation has impacted both the budgeting of programme activities and the lives of our partner staff.
Our prayer guide guide is released quarterly and this edition takes us through April, May and June 2023.
