The first issue of Toybox's prayer guide for 2023 is out now.
In our Winter edition, we pray for our work to register children with their birth certificates, particularly in Guatemala, where our partner CONACMI has recently started working with midwives from different communities to educate them on the importance of birth registration. We pray for the success of this training and for the ongoing partnership between CONACMI and RENAP - the government department responsible for civil registry in Guatemala City.
We also give thanks for an exciting new initiative in Kenya where our partner, PKL, are teaching children and young people about photography and encouraging them to share about their lives through pictures. We give thanks for the enthusiasm with which the children and young people have taken this up and pray that they may really benefit from being able to express themselves in this way.
Our prayer guide guide is released quarterly and this edition takes us through January, February and March 2023.
