Donate a hot meal Ensure a child won't go hungry

A warm drink and a tasty meal can help Toybox build trust with a child who needs us. A child living alone on the streets can go for days without eating. The children we work with are often visibly malnourished and suffer terrible hunger pains. Today, your donation will help buy a street child a warm, nutritious meal and a drink – helping to build their strength and keep them healthy. Distributing food also helps earn the trust of children and increases their interest in other helpful services we can offer them.

Meet the charities

Toybox

Toybox works with children who have been plunged into the chaos of living or working on some of the world's most dangerous streets.

We support children marginalised and abused by those who should protect them and works with local organisations who are best placed to help find the most appropriate ways to prevent and help children escape from a life on the streets. Toybox works in El Salvador, Bolivia, Guatemala, India, Nepal and Kenya.

YMCA Milton Keynes

YMCA is the only provider of supported housing dedicated to young adults aged 18-35 in Milton Keynes. Since 1981, they have supported more than 10,000 young people, by providing practical, emotional and employment support to help residents belong, contribute, and thrive.

YMCA MK’s state-of-the-art campus and move-on accommodation provide homes for up to 242 young adults and social enterprises – such as their café, HomeGround – offer work experience, training and employment opportunities for residents.
