Your gift will allow a street child to access essential human rights, like healthcare and education. They'll be protected by law and kept safe from harm.
I cannot go to school.
I cannot see a doctor.
I'm not protected by the law.
Instead, I fight for survival on the dangerous city streets.
Help children like me escape by giving a birth certificate today.
Give a birth certificateBirth registration is one of the most impactful things we do to positively influence the lives of street children worldwide.
Since 2013 our birth registration program has supported over 10,000 street children to access their birth certiciate. A newly registered child - no matter how old - is immediately recognised as a human being by law. They're welcomed into society and given the support, opportunities and safety all children deserve.

Our vision is of a just world with no street children
Around the world, record levels of inequality, violence, migration, war and natural disasters, mean hundreds of millions* of children are forced to live or work on the streets.
Cold, hungry and often malnourished, they have little chance for a normal life. Overlooked by society, they have no hope of an education and are denied access to essential services like healthcare, legal protection and justice.
Instead they spend each day trying to find informal work or for something to eat. They're easy targets for gangs and at daily risk of sexual abuse, coercion, child labour, forced marriage, and trafficking.
For over 30 years and across seven countries, Toybox has worked alongside street children to protect them from abuse, neglect, violence and exploitation and provide them with opportunities that'll help them leave the streets for good.
There are some key areas we focus on that have a profound impact for the street children they help:
193,475
children, parents and
caregivers supported
44,449
street children and their families
supported in the last year alone
